If this sounds like you, please apply!ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) scopes for large-scale data center construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and turnoverCoordinate design development, constructability reviews, and clash detection with design teams, consultants, and trade partnersOversee installation of critical systems including power distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, chilled water, CRAHs/CRACs, fire protection, and BMS/EPMSManage MEP schedules, phasing plans, and work sequencing to align with overall project milestones and commissioning requirementsLead subcontractor procurement, scope leveling, contract administration, and performance managementDrive quality control, QA/QC processes, and compliance with mission-critical standards and specificationsMonitor budgets, cost forecasting, change management, and value engineering for MEP scopesLead commissioning planning, functional testing, integrated systems testing (IST), and turnover documentationEnsure compliance with safety standards, site logistics constraints, and operational continuity requirementsCoordinate owner training, O&M manuals, as-builts, attic stock, and closeout documentationInterface directly with owners, operators, AHJs, and commissioning agentsIdentify and mitigate technical risks related to redundancy, resiliency, and system reliabilitySupport preconstruction activities including budgeting, constructability input, and trade engagementQualifications7+ years of experience managing MEP scopes on complex commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects (data centers strongly preferred)Strong working knowledge of electrical distribution systems, mechanical cooling infrastructure, and mission-critical redundancy architecturesProven ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced, high-reliability environmentsExperience with commissioning processes, integrated testing, and critical systems turnoverThe Walsh Group, Ltd.
