CNC Grinding Operator, 1st Shift
Globus Medical
Branch Medical Group, a Globus Medical subsidiary, seeks a CNC Grinding Operator to set up and operate grinding machines for spinal and orthopedic implant components. The role requires precise dimensional control, quality inspections, and adherence to manufacturing standards and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC grinding machines to meet dimensional specifications
- Measure, inspect, and load/unload parts from grinding equipment
- Implement dimensional adjustments and offsets as instructed
- Complete quality control documentation and inspection sheets accurately
- Follow all standard operating procedures, safety regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
- Able to perform microscopic visual inspection on small parts with attention to detail
- Intermediate math skills in geometric and trigonometric formulas preferred
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
