Licensed Nail Artist / Nail Technician

Hammer & Nails Grooming Shop for Guys – Studio City, CA

Hammer & Nails Studio City is hiring a talented, professional, and guest-focused Licensed Nail Artist/Nail Technician to join our growing team.

We provide a unique luxury grooming experience specializing in manicures, pedicures, haircuts, shaves, and grooming services in a comfortable and upscale environment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, values cleanliness and sanitation, and knows how to create an exceptional experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality manicures, pedicures, nail grooming, polishing, and related services
• Perform professional consultations and recommend services based on each guest’s needs
• Maintain excellent service quality while staying within scheduled appointment times
• Follow all required cleaning, sanitation, disinfection, and safety procedures
• Keep tools, equipment, service areas, and the nail station clean, organized, sanitized, and ready for each guest
• Complete accurate and detailed guest notes after each service
• Complete after-service cards for first-time guests
• Educate guests about proper nail care and recommend suitable retail products
• Introduce membership options naturally and explain their value to appropriate guests
• Encourage guests to rebook their next appointment before leaving
• Assist with opening, closing, laundry, cleaning, and other assigned shop duties
• Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to provide services
• Work cooperatively with the Member Concierge and other team members
• Help create a welcoming, professional, and positive environment

Qualifications

• Active California manicurist or cosmetology license required
• Previous professional manicure and pedicure experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of nail care, sanitation, and infection-control procedures
• Excellent customer-service and communication skills
• Professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic
• Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable recommending products, memberships, and future appointments
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Available to work weekends and some evenings as needed
• Experience in a salon, spa, barbershop, hospitality, or luxury service environment is preferred
