We are seeking an experienced, organized, and motivated Childcare Center Director to oversee the daily operations of our childcare center. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience managing a commercial childcare facility, developing staff, and ensuring high-quality care in a safe, nurturing environment.



Schedule

• Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Director in a commercial childcare setting.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience using Brightwheel childcare management software.
• Must have reliable transportation and a dependable attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day operations of the childcare center.
• Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations and company policies.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise employees.
• Maintain staffing schedules and support employee development.
• Manage enrollment, family communication, and customer service.
• Oversee the center's social media presence and assist with marketing and advertising efforts.
• Coordinate with vendors and maintain relationships with service providers.
• Monitor budgets, inventory, supplies, and operational expenses.
• Foster a positive, safe, and engaging environment for children, families, and staff.
• Address parent concerns professionally and build strong family relationships.
• Maintain accurate records using Brightwheel childcare management software.

Preferred Qualifications
Food Safety and Sanitation Certification through the Jefferson County Department of Health & Wellness is a plus. Candidates who are not currently certified must be willing to obtain certification upon hire.
