Transportation Analyst

Transportation Analyst The Transportation Analyst is responsible for managing Transportation Management business processes including procurement, Freight Bill Audit & Payment, shipment planning and execution to ensure Ryder’s solutions meet customer requirements. The role involves driving continuous cost and service improvement through repeatable analysis and recommended implementations, and represents Ryder in customer meetings. Essential Functions Monitor and manage key performance indicators and execute root cause analysis utilizing TM operating systems. Provide support function activity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data processing, reporting analysis, and all other customer inquiries. Interact with clients to resolve problems and coordinate implementations. Cohesively work with internal subject‑matter experts to resolve issues and support implementations. Process and distribute weekly and monthly customer metrics and develop customer performance reports. Prepare various reports and supporting documents, updating SCLM and SCMP as required. Initiate continuous process improvement activities and monitor results. Measure transportation network cost and service performance, and develop improvement initiatives to support the Account Executive. Coordinate TM procurement activities to achieve best cost/service solution network. Prepare for client quarterly and monthly account reviews. Evaluate, quantify, and present opportunities for continuous improvement at assigned accounts. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills. Qualifications College degree or technical certification in Business, Logistics, or Transportation. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Transportation. Preferred: 2+ years of industry‑related experience. Preferred: 2+ years of experience in customs, freight flow, and Transportation Management. Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) and internet usage. No travel required. Benefits Salaried position with a range of $55,000 to $70,000.
