Job Description
\nAlbany Medical Center is currently recruiting a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry faculty. Hours are Monday-Friday with a flexible schedule; mainly outpatient with some hospital-based responsibilities.
\nThe department includes a 26-bed acute inpatient unit, a consultation-liaison service seeing patients throughout the hospital, an outpatient psychiatry teaching clinic, an outpatient practice, and an integrated care program at multiple clinical sites. Our ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program has 28 residents and trains Albany Medical College medical and physician assistant students, as well as psychology practicum students, interns, and post-doctoral fellows.
\nResponsibilities include:

- Provide direct child and adolescent hospital based and outpatient care \n
- Hospital and memory clinic consultation \n
- ECT and TMS \n
- Education and supervision of psychiatry residents and medical students \n
- Research and quality improvement projects are encouraged \n
Competitive salary range: $240,000-$250,000 starting salary negotiable commensurate with academic rank and experience.
