Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established Standards of Nursing Practice
• Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care within a Labor and Delivery (LDRP) model
• Promote cooperation and effective communication among the health care team
• Monitor fetal status using advanced fetal monitoring techniques and respond appropriately to findings
• Provide direct patient care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification (required on hire and every two years thereafter)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working within an LDRP care model
• Familiarity with rotating shift schedules in a Labor and Delivery setting
