Facility Assistant 2 The Facility Assistant 2 is responsible for maintaining the functionality, safety, and cleanliness of the facility. Duties include cleaning, maintenance, basic repairs, coordinating office moves, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. What You’ll Do Cleaning and Maintenance: sweeping, mopping, dusting, deep cleaning projects such as floor stripping or shampooing, maintenance of overall cleanliness. Basic Repairs: fixing leaky faucets, replacing light bulbs, patching walls. Inventory Management: tracking and managing supplies, ordering supplies, performing inventory audits, replenishing supply closets. Safety and Compliance: following safety regulations, conducting inspections (PMs), addressing hazards. Coordination and Communication: working with other departments, responding to requests, performing documented PMs, ensuring smooth operations, assisting in Shipping and Receiving with replenishment and closing station duties. General Training: receiving quality management system training, adhering to company policies and values. Other duties as requested. Who You Are High School diploma (vocational school preferred). Comfortable with everyday business of the distribution environment. Knowledgeable and capable of using tools, working at heights, riding a scissor lift. Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel. Ability to read, comprehend, write simple correspondence and present information in one-on-one situations.
