Job Opportunity: CRNA
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Facility Details:
- Bed Capacity: 254
- Trauma Level: III
This position is available due to staffing needs.
AvailabilityStart Date: As soon as possible, ongoing
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Shifts: 8-hour (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) and 10-hour (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
Requirements: Candidates must be available for at least 2 weeks per month (40 hours per week). There are no on-call duties or weekend shifts.
Credentialing TimelineExpect the credentialing process to take approximately 60 days.
Job ResponsibilitiesWork Environment: Inpatient and outpatient settings
Patient Volume: Each provider will handle 1-8 cases daily. The pediatric case load may vary from none to all pediatric cases, covering patients aged 0-99 years. Note that locum providers typically do not manage NICU cases for infants under 6 months.
Required Skills:
- Comfortable with pediatric cases as well as those in the Donor Care unit (both pediatric and adult patients)
- Experience in Adult Orthopedics, GYN/ONC, Urology, Complex Spine, Ophthalmology, Plastics, and ECT
- Specific pediatric expertise in areas such as Pediatric Cath Lab, ENT, General Surgery, Urology, BMT, and Oculoplastic procedures
Support Staff: Hospital nursing staff will assist
Electronic Medical Records: EPIC system in use
Team Care Model: Medically supervised environment with strong collaborative relationships with physicians who trust the capabilities of CRNAs.
Candidate RequirementsExperience: A minimum of 1 year is required, with 2 years preferred. Candidates open to licensing are welcome to apply.
