Lockbox Machine Operator

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Lockbox Machine Operators to support high-volume lockbox and mailroom operations in a fast-paced production environment.

This role is responsible for operating extraction, scanning, and mail sorting equipment while ensuring accurate and timely handling of incoming mail and payment documents. Candidates should be comfortable working around production machinery, meeting deadlines, and maintaining quality and productivity standards.

Experience in lockbox operations, mailroom processing, document imaging, or production environments is preferred but not required.

Mailroom & Equipment Operations

• Operate and maintain mail sorting, extraction, and scanning equipment including:
• OPEX 150/IEM
• OPEX Falcon
• OPEX MPS 40
• Receive, sort, and prepare incoming mail for processing
• Monitor machine performance and identify jams, misfeeds, or operational issues
• Troubleshoot minor equipment problems or escalate when necessary
• Support general mailroom and production operations as needed

Quality & Production

• Ensure all work is completed within production deadlines
• Perform quality checks to verify processing accuracy
• Follow all operational, audit, and compliance procedures
• Meet established productivity and quality metrics
• Promote teamwork, collaboration, and engagement within the department

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry trays of mail weighing approximately 1015 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment for extended periods

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• 13 years of experience in:
• Lockbox operations
• Mailroom environments
• Production processing
• Document scanning/imaging preferred but not required
• Experience with OPEX Falcon, OPEX 150/IEM, OPEX MPS 40, or similar extraction/scanning equipment preferred
