Mill Machinist III - 3rd Shift

Job Title: Mill Machinist III – 3rd Shift Reporting To: Management, General Manufacturing & Operations Work Schedule: Onsite – Buffalo, NY Qualifications High school diploma or GED (preferred). Demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions or training in English; basic arithmetic proficiency. At least four (4) years of relevant experience as a Mill Machinist in a manufacturing setting. Eligibility to enroll and participate in the company’s FAA Drug & Alcohol Program as required by federal aviation regulations for Safety Sensitive Work. Responsibilities Perform a complete range of milling operations on all types of material using vertical mills and tracer-type milling machines. Setup and operate vertical mills; establish all required set‑ups using specified equipment. Occasionally develop new methods and machining techniques. Interpret drawings, work with or without operation sheets, and produce difficult layouts with minimal guidance. Inspect all work, detect unusual conditions, defective materials or parts using various inspection equipment and processes. Benefits & Compensation Competitive hourly wage: $30.00–$36.00 (Buffalo, NY). Shift differential: 10% for 2nd and 3rd shift employees. Salary Transparency The base salary range represents the low and high end of Moog’s salary range for this position at the specified location.
