Business Analyst (provider)

Job Overview The Psychiatrist will perform psychiatric evaluations on a scheduled and emergency basis, develop and implement treatment plans, and work with the treatment team to optimize care for clients. This position is a Children/Youth Outpatient provider open to full‑time or part‑time contract. Core Duties and Responsibilities Perform intakes and diagnostic interviews on a scheduled and emergency basis. Make expert diagnoses, provide interpretations, and offer recommendations in consultation to the treatment team. Participate in clinical staff diagnosis/evaluation of clients in the Outpatient Program. Provide medical psychiatric treatment of clients, write prescriptions, and monitor medication effectiveness and side effects. Be available for consultation and providing information to agencies coordinating their work with the clinics. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with administrative, medical, and non‑medical mental health staff, clients, and the general public. Assure that the clients admitted to clinics require the level of care offered by the different programs. Serve on the Utilization Review Committee as requested. Consult as necessary with the Director of Psychiatric Services on unusual, complex, or serious cases. Meet with the Director of Psychiatric Services on a regular basis. Comply with SD/MC standards for chart documentation. Participate in general staff meetings as requested. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all company policies and procedures as applicable.
