Paint Technician

Paint TechnicianA Paint Technician at Reading Truck will work under the direction of the Shop Foreman to perform work in painting, finishing, and maintaining interior and exterior structures of specialty truck equipment.Sanding manufactured productScraping surfaces of truck equipmentPreparing truck bodies prior to paint applicationMixing paint for painting as neededApplying topcoat paint application and undercoat as neededCleaning spray guns, paint booth and work areaFinal touch-ups for quality assurance controlsOther duties as assigned1-2 years of painting experiencePrior experience with pot gun spray equipment and light sanding on large equipment or vocational vehicles preferredBed liner application experience preferredDecal/wrap application experience preferredAt Reading Truck, we have more than 65 years of industry leadership in the manufacture, distribution, and enhancement of work truck bodies.
