Area Operations Manager - Indian QSR Brand (USA)

We are partnering with an exciting Indian casual dining brand launching its first restaurant in the United States and seeking an experienced Operations / Area Manager to lead the business through its next phase of growth.

This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded restaurant leader to help establish the brand in the US market and build the operational foundation for future expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the launch and operational management of the brand's first US restaurant.
• Oversee restaurant operations across Texas and California , ensuring consistency in service, food quality, and guest experience.
• Develop and implement SOPs, training programs, and operational systems.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop restaurant management teams.
• Drive sales, profitability, labour efficiency, and cost control.
• Monitor and manage P&L performance across locations.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, and employment regulations.
• Support new store openings and future expansion plans.
• Work closely with ownership on strategic growth initiatives and operational improvements.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on excellence and accountability.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 12 years' experience in restaurant operations.
• Strong background with leading QSR, Fast Casual, or Casual Dining brands .
• Proven experience managing multiple restaurant locations or territories.
• Demonstrated success in restaurant openings and scaling operations.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Excellent commercial acumen with a solid understanding of P&L management.
• Experience working within structured restaurant groups is highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Texas and California.
