Utility PorterIt is the responsibility of all Maintenance employees to maintain the cleanliness of all public areas and back of the house areas to the highest standards of excellence. Responsibilities include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, washing and cleaning all debris from floor. Cleaning and sanitizing all sinks, toilets and urinals using various chemicals as directed. Picking up any trash from the receptacles and/or off the floor and disposing of it properly. Picking up and disposing of properly all empty beer bottles and glasses. Cleaning, emptying and wiping all ashtrays and replacing missing ones. Cleaning all gaming tables and chairs. Taking care of all blood borne calls, broken glass and/or wet/dry spills immediately. Cleaning, setting up and stripping and waxing all floor surfaces including marble polishing and/or cutting. Cleaning and/or shampooing carpet and upholstery and reporting repairs needed. Cleaning and/or polishing marble, brass, mirrors, glass, light fixtures and chandeliers. Cleaning all walls, ceilings, any and all high cleaning. Cleaning and emptying trash receptacles, pushing and pulling 50lbs. or more trash bins. Receiving inventory and delivering and putting away inventory. Signing in and out for keys, radios and equipment on a daily basis and bringing every item back in good working condition. Use of positive customer service is required at all times. Performing other duties and responsibilities as requested.Qualifications to perform this job successfully include the ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results. Knowledge and use of basic reading, writing and speaking skills in English. Must be able to communicate with guests, co-workers and supervisors and understand procedures.
