Assess patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics through standardized evaluations and observational methods.
Create tailored intervention strategies that target immediate goals while addressing long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing necessities.
Deliver personalized speech therapy focused on improving language, fluency, voice, and swallowing abilities.
Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and family members to build comprehensive care frameworks.
Provide educational resources and support for patients and their families to ensure progress continues beyond clinical appointments.
Support occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring an uninterrupted treatment experience.
Document care and progress accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to all state, federal, and institutional regulations.
Commit to ongoing professional development and peer engagement to stay updated with industry advancements.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.
Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) credential from ASHA.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic practices for all ages, combined with a robust understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Outstanding interpersonal communication skills when engaging with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Adaptability in therapy techniques cultural and linguistic differences.
Strong clinical discernment and problem-solving capabilities.
Proficient in using electronic medical records and comprehensive documentation protocols.
