As a Speech Language Pathologist here, you will relish the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, encompassing outpatient therapy and supporting inpatient needs. Job Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of individuals across all age groups, utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methods.
- Craft individualized treatment strategies that meet immediate goals while keeping long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing aspects in mind.
- Deliver targeted speech therapy sessions focusing on communication skills, language enhancement, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
- Work collaboratively alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team that includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurse practitioners, medical doctors, caregivers, and families to implement cohesive care programs.
- Provide educational resources to patients and families to bolster progress and support rehabilitation at home.
- Be involved in occasional inpatient assessments and therapies, ensuring that care continuity is maintained throughout the recovery journey.
- Maintain precise clinical documentation that adheres to both state and federal regulations as well as our organizational standards.
- Participate in continuous education initiatives and collaborative peer engagements to stay abreast of advancements in practice.
Qualifications
- Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
- Complete a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you have not achieved ASHA certification.
Licenses and Certifications
- Hold a current state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within your first thirty days on the job.

- Adept in evidence-based therapeutic techniques suitable for various ages with an in-depth understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing obstacles.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
