About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:45 - 19:15) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Must have an active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with telemetry - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Tracheostomy care and management experience Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical specialty. The nurse will be responsible for providing care for adult and geriatric patients. The ratio of patients to nurses is 1:6. Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend. The nurse may be required to float to different units. Certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory. Applicants with less than 2 years of experience may be considered. The nursing staff will receive interdisciplinary support from various services, including therapy and social services. The RN will manage all aspects of tracheostomy care, with respiratory therapy available if needed. The position requires completion of orientation modules prior to the start of shifts.
