About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Must have valid state RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: 2 years of charge experience preferred Experience in telemetry and management of dysrhythmias Ability to perform tracheostomy care and management Experience in Level 1 Trauma setting Description: The Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical specialty will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care. The nurse will work within a patient ratio of 1:6. Floating to other units may be required as needed. Every other weekend shift is expected. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. The nurse will document patient care utilizing an electronic charting system. Special procedures and unit details will be discussed during the interview process. Candidates must have the ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage them effectively. Commitment to maintaining quality standards in patient care is essential. Candidates with less than 2 years of experience will be considered based on qualifications.
