AP Accountant

A growing, global engineering organization is seeking an AP Accountant to join its lean finance team. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who can jump in quickly , manage high‑volume accounts payable, and operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment. About the Role This position plays a key role in overseeing the full accounts payable cycle while supporting broader accounting functions, including reconciliations and project-based accounting. The team operates across multiple entities , including international transactions, so attention to detail and adaptability are critical. Key Responsibilities Process payments through banking and vendor portals Maintain accurate AP records in QuickBooks Desktop Perform account reconciliations, including foreign currency transactions Communicate with domestic and international vendors Support project and construction‑related accounting activities Partner closely with internal teams including procurement and project accounting Utilize Excel for reporting, tracking, and reconciliations What We’re Looking For 5–7+ years of accounting experience, with strong high-volume AP exposure Experience with foreign currency transactions (required) Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and advanced Excel Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Experience working across multiple entities Background in property management, nonprofit, or project-based accounting is a plus Exposure to affordable housing or fund‑based accounting is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred On‑site, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) Collaborative, small accounting team with high visibility Competitive salary ($70K–$80K) On‑site health facility Retirement plan with company match Interview Process On‑site interview #J-18808-Ljbffr Ascendo Resources
