Responsible for establishing training with EXCEL and assist Region Accounting staff as needed with spreadsheet-related questions. Assist with accounting related work that could include assisting with bank reconciliations; payroll, travel, and leave-related assistance. Serve as the lead for organizing, collecting and reporting of all FEMA/GEMA payments. Core Competencies: Customer Service Teamwork Flexibility Accountability Results Oriented Multi-task oriented Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, demonstrate some or all of the following skills/experience: Strong background in EXCEL, WORD and POWERPOINT Basic understanding of the DFCS payroll, travel and leave processes in order to assist Region Accounting as well as provide assistance to DFCS staff Operational knowledge of SHINES, SMILE systems, View email address on click.appcast.io, MICROSOFT OFFICE systems Basic understanding in how to complete bank reconciliations and be able to analyze and identify outstanding bank items.
