About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of New Business Development to spearhead the expansion of its brand beyond traditional media offerings. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire process of identifying, developing, negotiating, and executing new business opportunities. This includes leading strategic growth initiatives such as licensing, new experiential offerings, and future media services. The role demands a builder with a proven track record in business development, particularly in the areas of licensing, corporate development, and strategic growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media, publishing, entertainment, consumer brands, hospitality, or related industries, and a deep understanding of how to monetize brands and intellectual property. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of New Business Development at the company include creating and managing new business models, leading the development of new programs, and collaborating with various internal teams to bring new ventures to market. The role requires a professional with at least 10 years of experience, exceptional strategic thinking, and strong execution skills. The candidate should be adept at negotiating complex commercial agreements, building relationships with potential partners, and be comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment. While not mandatory, a passion for wine, food, hospitality, travel, or luxury brands is considered a plus.
