Talent Acquisition Specialist

Position Summary Mid-American Wealth Advisory Group is seeking a Recruiter to lead talent acquisition efforts as we continue expanding our advisory, operational, and leadership teams. This individual will be responsible for identifying, attracting, evaluating, and securing top talent while ensuring candidates align with the firm’s culture, values, and long-term growth objectives. The Recruiter will serve as a strategic hiring partner to leadership and play a key role in building the future of the organization. The ideal candidate is an experienced recruiter with strong sourcing and interviewing skills, a keen ability to assess talent, and a proven track record of successfully filling positions across multiple functions. Key Responsibilities Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for advisory, operations, administrative, and leadership positions. Source and attract qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and proactive outreach strategies. Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Conduct structured phone screens and interviews to assess qualifications, communication skills, cultural fit, and long-term potential. Evaluate candidate strengths, identify development areas, and recognize inconsistencies or concerns throughout the interview process. Partner closely with leadership to understand workforce needs and develop targeted recruiting strategies. Coordinate and manage all stages of the interview process, ensuring a positive candidate experience. Maintain accurate candidate records, recruiting metrics, interview notes, and hiring documentation. Provide regular updates and hiring recommendations to leadership. Assist with employer branding initiatives and recruiting process improvements. Qualifications 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a demonstrated history of successful placements. Experience recruiting for professional, administrative, operational, or financial services positions preferred. Strong proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and modern sourcing techniques. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and networking skills. Strong interviewing and candidate evaluation abilities. Ability to identify strengths, gaps, and potential concerns within candidate backgrounds and responses. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously. Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM systems, and recruiting metrics preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
