Senior Accountant (Private Equity)

Job Description Experience: Senior Level Salary: $90,000 - $105,000 per year Senior Associate – Financial Operations & Partnership Accounting We're partnering with a highly respected global investment firm to identify a Senior Associate to join its Finance & Accounting team. This role supports the financial operations and accounting activities related to equity compensation partnerships and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with exposure to complex investment structures and high-impact financial operations. What You'll Do Analyze and process capital calls, distributions, and related partnership activity Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and cash movement transactions Support quarterly partner reporting through accurate financial analysis and accounting Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to respond to financial inquiries Produce ad hoc financial reporting and analysis for leadership Assist with process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency Monitor bank balances and support the setup and maintenance of multiple entity bank accounts Collaborate across finance teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field Approximately 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial operations, fund accounting, partnership accounting, alternative investments, or private equity environments Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets Comfortable working with general ledgers, financial reporting systems, and accounting applications Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities Professional communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion This is an excellent opportunity to join a world-class investment organization where you'll gain exposure to sophisticated financial operations, complex partnership structures, and a high-performing finance team while contributing to meaningful strategic initiatives.
