Watch TechnicianThe Watch Technician's key areas of responsibility include the authentication, diagnostics, and repair of quartz. This position will authenticate and service watches within our e-commerce centers and communication across multiple internal teams to execute a seamless consignor experience and a frictionless production pipeline.Daily ResponsibilitiesIdentify all quartz watches (watch brand, watch model, movement brand, movement model)Open and close all types of watch cases without damaging themDiagnose quartz movement issuesChange batteries and gasketsReplace coils/circuits in quartz movementsReplace complete quartz movementsCalibrate chronograph and other complication indicators to original factory settings in quartz watchesPerform pressure test on all watch typesPerform timing measurements on all watch typesDemagnetize all watch typesAuthenticate quartz watches across all brandsClean external components of all non-leather-strap watches (case, crystal, bracelet) using appropriate method, including ultrasonic solution/machine and steamerPerform any additional daily tasks as directed by supervisorQualificationsMinimum Requirements:3-5 years of experience servicing quartz timepiecesExcellent hand-eye coordinationPerfect vision (natural or corrected)Ability to execute on communication systemsAdept at working with, and open to learning new technology solutions to increase productivity and efficiencyPolished in verbal and written communicationAbility to handle multiple complex, time sensitive situationsUnderstanding of daily quotas, deadlinesAbility to work within specific process constraintsPreferred Requirements:Brand certification from major watch brandDisassembling and overhauling mechanical/automatic movementsPolishing cases and braceletsCompensation, Benefits, + Perks$50 in monthly food credits to apply to snacks and meals that are available for purchase on siteEmployee Stock Purchase Plan401K with Company MatchMedical, Dental & Vision InsurancePaid parental leave9 Paid Company Holidays18 Paid Time Off (PTO) Days (PTO starts accruing on first day of work)State of the art, climate-controlled warehouse facilityThe expected hourly rate for this role is $25.00-$25.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR's total rewards package.
