Supply Management Specialist

Duties

Provide a single DLA face to the industrial customer on a wide range of issues involving both DLA and non-DLA managed items.

Provide information to the customer relating to specific items including: acquisition support, price, product uses and technical specification data, quality, and warranty information obtained through system resources.

Ensure timely processing of customer orders and customer access to product, account and order information.

Manage the orders processed, submit follow-ups, modifications, cancellations, and provide status updates to customer inquiries.

Receives and screens list of material requirements generated by Material Management Systems or other offline processes to ensure supportability.

Advises customer(s) on how to avoid the reoccurrence of problems, based on experience and results of previous studies.
