Admin Support Assistant III

Job Title Position is located in the Programs Department at the South MS Correctional Institution in Leakesville MS. Position is responsible for assisting the Programs Specialist Supervisor with reports, data entry, maintaining databases, maintain records, telecommunication, and other clerical duties as assigned. Third-level in vocational Administrative Support work. This position performs a variety of clerical, printing, and mail related tasks in support of a work unit. Employees at this level are required to have a knowledge of the procedures and processes applicable to the performance of the work and to organize their work on a daily or weekly basis by exercising independence and judgment that is greater than lower-level positions. May provide work direction to lower-level positions. What you'll need to be successful: Must be able to abide by the MS State Personnel Board and MDOC rules, regulations and procedures governing the workplace.
