Content Creator Volunteer (Remote)
Take Trips MES is seeking a creative and motivated Content Creator to develop engaging, mission-driven content that promotes our programs, community impact, and organizational initiatives. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about storytelling, social media, and digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and publish engaging content across social media platforms, including Instagram, Fanbase, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
- Develop multimedia content such as graphics, short-form videos, reels, and promotional materials
- Assist with content planning, scheduling, and content calendar management
- Write compelling captions, blog posts, newsletters, and other marketing materials
- Research trends, hashtags, and audience insights to optimize content performance and engagement
- Monitor content performance (views, reach, engagement) and provide basic analytics reports
- Collaborate with team members to highlight events, programs, and community success stories
- Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and organizational mission
Qualifications:
- Experience creating content for social media platforms (personal, academic, or professional)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar)
- Ability to create and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and time management
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Social media management and content strategy experience
- Content planning and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer)
- Video editing and basic motion graphics
- Copywriting and storytelling skills
- Photography or graphic design experience
- Familiarity with social media analytics and performance tracking tools
