Work Environment\n

This position is designed for a remote work setup, allowing for flexibility and promoting a healthy work-life balance. Our telehealth platform enables counselors to conduct therapy sessions via video calls, making mental health resources available to clients throughout Yonkers and beyond. Regular team meetings may occur virtually to foster collaboration and ensure continuity of care. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, aligned with the needs of our client population.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand each client's mental health and substance use challenges.

• Develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans that reflect individual client goals, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

• Provide individual, couples, and group counseling sessions, using appropriate therapeutic interventions to promote healing and recovery.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver integrated care to clients.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in regular clinical supervision and case conferences to discuss clinical caseloads, share insights, and develop professionally.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in a mental health-related field is required.

• An active, independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
