Work Environment\n

This position allows for a remote working arrangement while also engaging with clients in an outpatient office setting. Our professionals work within a structured schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring a balanced work-life integration. With current advancements in telehealth, counselors have the flexibility to conduct assessments and provide therapy using secure digital platforms, allowing for efficient and effective care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive crisis assessments for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring rapid and appropriate interventions.

• Deliver immediate counseling to clients in distress, employing compassionate communication techniques to foster trust and engagement.

• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response teams when necessary, prioritizing client safety and welfare during high-risk situations.

• Facilitate follow-up care and provide clients with tailored recommendations for ongoing support, ensuring continuity in their mental health journey.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies and de-escalation procedures effectively to manage challenging situations, safeguarding client and staff safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on senior clients within our Geriatric Care Clinic. Our counselors are specifically trained to handle the complexities associated with aging, including grief from loss, adaptation to life changes, and other age-related mental health challenges. The aim is to empower our elderly clientele to navigate their emotional health effectively, fostering resilience and promoting a higher quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution or university.

• Active and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) status.

Compensation and Benefits\n
