Medical Receptionist. 3 days a week for part-time position.
Fluent in Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, and Spanish a plus. MUST HAVE A MINIUMUM OF 3 YEARS OF MEDICAL Reception Experience We are seeking a Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and provide administrative support across the organization. Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as soon as they arrive at the office
- Process patient identification and insurance information accurately and relay to clinical staff. Check in patients politely with a smile.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk Experience:
-Proficiency in Medent EMR
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills Skills:
- Medical receptionist experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Medent EMR is a plus
- Strong customer support skills
- Familiarity with phone systems
- Experience in a medical office setting is advantageous
- Computer literacy including MS Office applications
- Basic clerical skills such as filing, copying, and scanning documents
- Exposure to event planning tasks is beneficial
