The Lead Personnel Liaison (PL) provides day-to-day direction and support to junior Personnel Liaisons in the performance of routine and complex hiring practices, including the interpretation and application of personnel laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. The Lead PL serves as a subject matter expert on division and DOJ hiring policies, and best practices, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and quality customer service. The Lead PL serves as the primary trainer and mentor for the junior PLs by developing and maintaining comprehensive training plans, delivering training, providing ongoing coaching and technical guidance, evaluation performance during the training period, providing feedback to management on individual and team progress, and making recommendations to management. The Lead PL collaborates with the team to continuously update training plans, desk manuals, standard operation procedures and other instruction materials.
