You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, assist visitors and staff, monitor access activity, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.50 - $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed04:00 PM - 12:00 AMThur04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to healthcare facility entrances, restricted areas, and/or designated visitor access points in accordance with established procedures. Verify visitor, staff, contractor, and/or vendor credentials; issue and collect temporary access badges as directed by site procedures. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, access points, and surrounding areas to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
