You are responsible for ensuring your team delivers excellent administrative support and customer service to service users, judiciary and management. About Us HMCourts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is responsible for the administration of criminal, civil and family courts and tribunals in England and Wales. Your Role Responsible for the efficient use of courtrooms and court staff through the effective listing and control of court business. Maintain the court diary system and control and coordinate the allocation of work to courtrooms to secure optimum use of resources while minimising delay and wasted time. Set team priorities and objectives to meet performance targets, and work with other court teams to ensure judicial resources are available for scheduled hearing dates. Work with the Judiciary and Legal Advisers to handle case adjournments, remit cases and other listing matters. Your Skills and Experience Ability to motivate and support your team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve effective performance. Experience working in an administrative role in a customer‑focused environment. IT proficiency with the ability to learn and adapt to different technologies and software packages. Working Arrangements & Further Information Standard full‑time working hours are 37 hours per week. Part‑time, flexible and job‑sharing working patterns are welcomed where they meet the demands of the role and business needs, and will be agreed prior to appointment. Occasional travel to local courts may be required subject to business needs. The role can only be worked in the UK, not overseas. Employees are expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in an office, subject to local estate capacity.
