About the Position

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: - Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 2nd Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of one year of full-time equivalent clinical experience in Diagnostic Radiology is required. Previous CT experience is preferred. License: ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology is required. Current state license as a Radiographer is required. Certifications: Advanced certification in CT is required within 18 months of hire/transfer. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an approved equivalent is required within three months of hire. Must-Have: Diagnostic Radiology experience. CT experience. Description: Operates computed tomography (CT) and related equipment as directed by a radiologist. Performs CT studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Reviews images and archives them with associated patient data. Interacts with imaging personnel, nursing staff, medical staff, patients, and visitors. Performs other duties as assigned.
