Summary: Our award-winning client is seeking a Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join their team. Join our esteemed litigation team in Baton Rouge as a Legal Assistant and be a key player in our success! In this fast-paced role, you'll provide comprehensive support to our attorneys, ensuring everything runs smoothly and deadlines are met. Responsibilities : Leverage technology to streamline workflows and maximize attorney efficiency. Prepare legal documents with accuracy, and manage electronic and paper filing systems. Maintain attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and manage client contacts. Assist with conflict checks, billing matters, and client expense reimbursement. Maintain excellent client rapport with discretion and professionalism. Required Qualifications: High school diploma (Associate's degree a plus). 3+ years of litigation secretarial experience. Strong legal terminology and software skills (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage deadlines. Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
