Financial Controller

Join a fast‑growing team that’s redefining battery innovation. The Opportunity Pure Lithium is seeking a strategic, hands‑on Controller to lead our finance and accounting function. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, compliance, and internal controls while serving as a trusted business partner to executive leadership. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance leader who enjoys building scalable processes, supporting strategic decision‑making, and helping drive the growth of an innovative technology company. What You'll Do Lead all accounting operations, including month‑end and year‑end close, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance. Develop annual budgets, rolling forecasts, cash flow projections, and financial models to support business strategy. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to executive leadership. Oversee audits, tax compliance, regulatory filings, and corporate governance requirements. Manage banking relationships, cash management, and financial risk. Lead and mentor the Accounting Administrator while strengthening internal controls and improving financial processes. Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, HR, Legal, and Executive Leadership to support company initiatives and continued growth. What We're Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s degree preferred). CPA strongly preferred. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role. Experience in startup or high‑growth environments preferred. Manufacturing, technology, or advanced materials industry experience is highly desirable. Strong expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audits, and internal controls. Advanced Excel skills and experience with QuickBooks Online; Rippling experience is a plus.
