Lead AI ML Engineer - Remote - Eden Prairie

Salary: $145,500 - 249,500 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in computer science or a related discipline, or at least 4 years of equivalent software engineering experience.
• We require 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including full stack development.
• We require 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud-native deployment approaches.
• We require 3+ years of experience with Next.js / React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architectures.
• We require 3+ years of backend development experience with Node.js or comparable server-side frameworks.
• We require 3+ years of experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• We require 3+ years of experience building and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.
• We require 3+ years of experience with RESTful APIs, authentication and authorization, and secure application design.
• We require 2+ years of experience integrating AI/LLMs into applications, including prompting, orchestration, and API usage.
• We prefer strong problem-solving ability and comfort working across ambiguous problem spaces.

• We design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using Next.js, React, and modern TypeScript patterns.
• We develop and integrate LLM-powered features such as summarization, search, assistants, and decision support using industry-standard AI frameworks and APIs.
• We architect and improve backend services and APIs with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
• We create and manage PostgreSQL data models and queries with attention to performance and integrity.
• We deploy, monitor, and operate applications on Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Containers, Functions, Storage, and AI services.
• We apply best practices for cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and cost efficiency.
• We collaborate with architects and AI engineers on system design, model integration, and platform capabilities.
• We produce clean, testable, well-documented code and contribute to code reviews and technical standards.
• We mentor junior engineers and help shape technical decisions and solution direction.
