Job Description Job Title: Sr. UX Designer Location: New York, NY (On‑site) Job Type: Contract Duration: 06-12 Months Eligibility: Locals ONLY Key Responsibilities Concept & Experience Strategy: Define and drive end‑to‑end experience strategy; translate business problems into conceptual design narratives; create experience frameworks and user journeys; collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership teams. UI/UX Design: Design intuitive user interfaces for web and/or mobile; create wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs using tools like Figma; ensure consistency in design systems and typography; conduct design reviews and iterate based on feedback. Presentation Graphics & Storytelling: Develop high‑impact presentation decks; transform complex ideas into visually engaging storytelling formats; create motion, layout, and visual narratives. AI‑Driven / Prompt Design: Use generative AI tools to accelerate ideation and concept exploration; design effective prompts for AI tools; experiment with "vibe coding" approaches; stay updated with emerging AI design tools. Required Skills & Experience 8–10 years of experience in UI/UX design, experience design, or digital product design. Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX, conceptual design, and storytelling work. Expertise in design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or equivalent). Strong understanding of user‑centered design principles and interaction design. Experience in presentation design and visual communication. Familiarity with AI tools for design and content generation (e.g., generative design tools, prompt‑based workflows). Ability to think both strategically and visually. Preferred Skills Experience working with product teams in Agile environments. Basic understanding of front‑end development concepts (HTML/CSS/React awareness). Experience with motion design or micro‑interactions. Exposure to design systems at scale. Knowledge of emerging AI design ecosystems and prompt engineering practices. Soft Skills Strong storytelling and communication abilities. High creativity with a structured problem‑solving mindset.
