Linux Systems Engineer

To support advanced cyber initiatives, the remote Linux Systems Engineer will manage day-to-day operations, deploy and maintain security applications, and serve as a technical interface for clients, all on a contract basis. Key responsibilities Support maintenance of IT and enterprise-class security applications and systems Troubleshoot Linux and/or Windows servers and manage enterprise applications Deploy, optimize, and maintain enterprise security applications across various environments Required qualifications 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related fields Strong understanding of various Linux operating systems and troubleshooting skills Experience with patching and upgrading Linux and Windows operating systems Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and enterprise best practices for system hardening
