Customer Service & Dispatch Coordinator

Location: Fairbanks, AK
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–4:30 PM

Put your customer service and organizational skills to work in a fast-paced service office where communication, scheduling, and teamwork keep every day moving.

You'll serve as the communication hub for a busy service office, answering customer calls, scheduling appointments, dispatching technicians, and providing administrative support to keep daily operations running smoothly. This full-time assignment is expected to last approximately 6–8 weeks.

Previous dispatch, scheduling, or service industry experience is highly valued, but we're also interested in candidates with strong customer service and organizational skills. Experience with customer management or work order software is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately
Perform receptionist duties, including welcoming walk-in customers and directing inquiries appropriately
Enter customer information and create work orders
Schedule service appointments
Communicate with and dispatch technicians
Follow up with technicians regarding work orders and invoicing
Maintain an organized and professional office environment
Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

1–2 years of clerical or customer service experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
Background screening is part of the hiring process for this position (no sex crime convictions)
