Role Description

Our Agent Trainee Program is designed to help motivated individuals develop the skills, experience, and confidence needed to pursue long-term success in the insurance industry.
The Farmers Insurance Agent Trainee Program is designed for motivated individuals who want to develop professional sales skills, gain business experience, and explore a pathway toward agency ownership.
Whether you come from sales, retail, hospitality, management, education, customer service, or another industry, this program provides hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world experience working alongside industry leaders and professionals.
No prior insurance experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Learn insurance sales and customer relationship management
- Develop business development and prospecting skills
- Build confidence in sales, leadership, and client service
- Help individuals and families protect what matters most
- Participate in training and professional development programs
- Gain exposure to agency operations and business management
Requirements
- Motivated and goal-oriented
- Comfortable building relationships with new people
- Interested in sales and business development
- Coachable and eager to learn
- Strong communicators
- Self-starters who enjoy taking initiative
- Interested in long-term career growth opportunities
Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, management, recruiting, entrepreneurship, or business development is helpful but not required.
