Canvass Team Lead – Field Marketing

Location: Traverse City, MI

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $50,000–$85,000+ per year (Base Salary + Personal Performance Bonuses + Team Performance Bonuses)

All Weather Seal of West Michigan is hiring a Canvass Team Lead to lead our Northern Michigan Field Marketing team. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll develop canvassers, drive appointment generation, and help fuel the growth of one of Michigan's premier home improvement companies. This isn't a desk job—you'll coach in the field, lead by example, and help your team reach new levels of success every day.

What You'll Do

As the Canvass Team Lead , you'll lead, coach, and develop a team of Field Marketing Representatives while helping generate qualified homeowner appointments.

Team Leadership

• Lead daily canvassing activities alongside your team
• Coach and mentor canvassers through ride-alongs and field training
• Conduct daily team meetings, goal-setting sessions, and performance reviews
• Recruit, onboard, and train new Field Marketing Representatives
• Foster a positive, competitive, and accountable team culture

Performance Management

• Monitor appointment generation, lead quality, and conversion metrics
• Track individual and team KPIs, including appointments set, demos completed, and conversion rates
• Identify coaching opportunities and implement performance improvement plans
• Celebrate team successes while maintaining high accountability standards

Field Marketing

• Engage homeowners through face-to-face conversations in residential neighborhoods
• Generate qualified leads and schedule free in-home consultations
• Represent All Weather Seal professionally within the community
• Lead by example through personal production and strong work ethic

What We're Looking For

• Leadership experience in canvassing, field marketing, sales, or customer-facing roles preferred
• Proven success in appointment setting, lead generation, or commission-based performance
• Strong communication, coaching, and motivational skills
• Competitive mindset with a passion for developing people
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven
• Comfortable working outdoors and leading in the field
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed
