Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU / Stepdown)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
• Document patient status, progress, and responses to treatment accurately and timely

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – North Carolina or Compact State license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, or prior travel nursing experience if less than 2 years
• Must reside outside an 80-mile local radius of the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a PCU, IMC, or Stepdown unit
• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred for candidates with fewer than 2 years of RN experience
