Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Potomac, MD
Are you a CDL-A driver seeking an OTR opportunity that guarantees weekly home time while requiring minimal physical labor? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes throughout the Northeast with excellent equipment and competitive pay.
Home Time:
- Home every week for a 34-hour reset, ensuring you have ample time for family and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, all equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems. You can take your assigned truck home if safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily handle dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations, allowing you to maximize your driving efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Average earnings range from $1,000 to $1,450 weekly based on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay according to customer policies, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.
Running Area:
- Cover Northeast regional routes from Maine to Virginia, with all tolls covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance begins the first of the month after 60 days of employment. Enjoy a $20,000 company-paid life insurance policy, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days with age restrictions.
