Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our team of caring imaging professionals committed to delivering the highest quality care. Using cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform diagnostic procedures, liaise with a team of supportive healthcare providers, and help bring comfort and clarity to patients through timely and precise imaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, explaining each step in a clear and compassionate manner
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, alerting for any malfunctions in a timely fashion
• Accurately document imaging procedures and ensure patient records are maintained within the electronic medical system
• Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound imaging practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Culmination of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent is needed
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is also preferred
