Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Duration - 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in an outpatient imaging environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty and strong patient-care and technical skills.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
Prepare patients for procedures and explain the examination process.
Review images for quality and completeness.
Accurately document examinations and patient information.
Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain patient privacy and follow all applicable safety and infection-control standards.
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Provide compassionate and professional patient care.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Ultrasound Technologist experience .
ARDMS certification required.
AHA BLS certification required.
Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures, anatomy, and imaging protocols.
Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a clinical imaging environment.

Schedule

Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
No regular weekend schedule indicated.
