This dynamic role offers the opportunity to lead our banquet team ensuring seamless execution of events, exceptional guest experiences and adherence to brand service standards. Join us and help us elevate our banquet offerings while fostering a positive, team-driven atmosphere that celebrates excellence in service delivery.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and supervise all banquet/group sales events from preplanning to setup to breakdown to post evaluation, ensuring seamless executionServe as the primary point of contact for banquet clients during events and resolve concerns promptly and efficientlyManage staff scheduling, training, and development to maintain high standards of customer service and experience deliveryOversee food presentation and safety protocols in line with health regulations and company policiesControl inventory levels for banquet supplies and equipment to optimize costs and reduce wasteUtilize POS systems for processing, billing, and cash handling with accuracyMonitor shift operations, resolve guest concerns promptly, and ensure consistent delivery of exceptional hospitality experiencesCollaborate with culinary team to plan menus that meet client specifications while maintaining quality standardsCollaborate with sales team to ensure all events are seamlessly executed with attention to detailCollaborate with other hotel departments as pertinent to all banquet activitiesAssist in budgeting efforts by tracking expenses and implementing cost-effective practices without compromising service qualityWhat are we looking for?At least two years direct hotel food and beverage leadership experience - banquet experience preferredDemonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environmentExcellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally and courteouslyExperience managing shift schedules, coaching and developing team membersKnowledge of food production techniques suitable for fine dining, casual dining, or catering environmentsFamiliarity with bar operations or beverage service is a plus for comprehensive event managementCompensation:$75,000-$85,000Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
