Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including a review of patient history and relevant assessments to determine treatment recommendations.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and their families, ensuring they are involved in the goal-setting process.
• Implement treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs, adapting as required based on evolving healthcare standards and patient presentations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor, recognize, and document changes in the patient's condition, modifying the plan of care accordingly.
• Oversee discharge planning, ensuring follow-up care aligns with the patient's rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care activities, including initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage time efficiently and meet productivity expectations.
• Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives that enhance accessibility to care.
• Engage in continuous education efforts, both personally and organizationally, to remain competent and informed in the field of physical therapy.
• Serve as a clinical instructor to students, fostering the next generation of physical therapists.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will provide care to a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Each patient will receive individualized attention and a tailored treatment plan aimed at restoring function and improving quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred, candidates with less experience who demonstrate strong potential and commitment to professional development are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
