Overview: Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate clinical support in a busy gastroenterology practice located in the Midwest region. This role focuses on assisting with patient care management and ensuring smooth clinical operations throughout each patient visit. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Respond promptly to patient inquiries via phone, providing reassurance, education, and appropriate triage. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints, while accurately documenting findings in electronic medical records. Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and medication management, ensuring all consents and protocols are followed. Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, sterilizing instruments, and organizing patient education materials to support efficient care delivery. Education and Experience: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program is required. Work Schedule: Full-time position with typical hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. MLee Medical Employment
